The Challenge
WiseTransfer's founders identified a gap in the travel transfer market: passengers had no way to pre-book private transfers at competitive, market-determined prices before arriving at a destination. Existing solutions were either fixed-price (no competition) or required passengers to be physically present to negotiate. The platform needed a bidding system, an escrow payment layer supporting both fiat and cryptocurrency, real-time notifications, a driver verification workflow, and dedicated mobile-optimised interfaces for both passengers and drivers.
Our Solution
eWorld Technologies architected a full marketplace platform with a React Native mobile application and a Next.js web frontend sharing a common FastAPI backend. The core bidding engine allows passengers to post transfer requests with pickup details, and verified drivers to submit competitive bids within a defined window. Accepted bids trigger an escrow hold (via Stripe for fiat, CoinPayments for crypto) with automatic release upon ride completion. A real-time notification system (Firebase Cloud Messaging) keeps both parties informed at every stage. The admin panel provides full operational visibility: ride management, driver verification queue, payout management, dispute resolution, and platform analytics.
